Staten Island, NY
Sailors' Snug Harbor (sometimes titled "Snug Harbor") is the thirteenth episode of Season 7 of Ghost Adventures. Zak, Nick and Aaron are accompanied by ABC's Nightline to investigate a haunted harbor in Staten Island. The crews hear phantom noises, and Zak and Nick discover a shadow lurking in the darkness.
Ghosts included in this location seem to include a Matron who's illegitimate mentally disabled son had stabbed her to death in order to escape being locked and chained in the Matron's basement before being Lynched by local residents. Another ghostly resident seems to be a murder-suicide between an enraged old sailor who wanted to keep some sort of secret and a priest who was shot in his chest before the sailor turned the gun on himself and shot off his jaw with a double barrelled gun. There is also a story that a woman had witnessed a misty black substance going up the bannister. There is also reports of a woman speaking within the Matron's House where no one was there. One man called Pops told a story that people were being helped by a ghost when they get lost near the Church. This Church was built in 1855. This is the first time the Ghost Adventurers will be using a Spirit Box in a Church. The 1-D comment on the Spirit Box is referred to Zak to perhaps be the number on the sailor's dormitory who killed the Priest perhaps. Nick gets the feeling of being followed before the female voice comes across. The music hall was built in 1892 and was the location where a music director snapped a picture of a ghostly mist white figure that is supposed to be an actor of some sort.
