Central Unit Prison is the Season 7 premiere of Ghost Adventures . Zak, Nick and Aaron head to the recently-closed Central Unit Prison in Sugar Land, TX , to be the first and only investigators to document the spirits of its violent former inmates. With only a couple of stories to help guide the investigation, the guys hope to learn undiscovered facts by communicating with the spirits.

Walkthrough[]

Since the prison has only recently closed, there is no guide to walk the crew through the location. The crew referred to this as a blind location.

Bruce Kelly, a historian, expanded on the origins of the Central Unit.

Their researcher found a father of a former inmate who is still incarcerated, who requested their identity be concealed. The father reports that his son witnessed fights, riots, and a suicide in the Back Gate portion of the prison.

A former Central Unit employee, identity withheld, came forward to detail the story of females feeling their shoulders touched when making copies. The female was afraid to be alone.

Texas Prison Museum holds the Old Sparky chair that electrocuted 361 people between 1924-1964. The crew was able to speak with Jim Willett, the director of the museum, about the chair. Jim details moans being heard in a section of the museum. Jim allows the crew to investigate the chair, as long as they do not go past the barrier.

At the start of the lockdown, Zak mentions that they were not permitted to see any death records for the prison. In addition, no tours were being offered plus it was not open to the public. While the crew is in the nerve center, Aaron is taking full spectrum photos and captures a figure standing near their equipment cases. Billy joins Zak and Aaron to investigate the Administration Room while Nick stays in the nerve center. While using the Spirit Box, Zak gets

Lockdown[]

Billy would monitor 4 cameras at a nerve center while Zak, Nick and Aaron investigate the prison. An X Camera was set up in solitary confinement (Black Gate) where the suicide occurred. Zak details that he will be wearing a mask due to black mold in the prison. A loud bang is heard as the lockdown begins.

The baseline of the Mel Meter is noted as 0.0 and 74 degrees. The Mel Meter spiked to a 1.5 when they entered the Administration Room, where women feel being touched. The Mel Meter continued to show drastic spikes and drops. It finally hits a huge spike of 3.8 as Zak feels aggression. The X Camera in the room is going in and out of focus. Nick notes that he feels a heavy pressure on his chest who records a shadow figure behind Zak.

The crew retreats back to nerve center as Nick feels drained so much so where he has to take a break. During this time, an EVP is captured in the Black Gate saying water. While Zak is using the spirit box, three voices come through as well as a orb running along the ceiling. They return to the nerve center where Nick remains affected to where he does not want to continue. Everyone takes a break by going outside to talk about what is happening with Nick, who is still feeling shaken and emotional. Zak asks Nick to go back inside to the Administration Room to try to interact with the forces affecting him. Zak runs the thermal camera with Nick, while Aaron goes alone to the shower room where another X Camera is setup.

As Aaron enters the shower room, another bang is heard. Nick begins a EVP session while Zak is running the thermal camera on him. Aaron sets up the thermal camera and Ovulus II device during which two more bangs occur. While Nick is dragging a chair into the center of the room, Zak captures figures of people on the thermal camera. Zak confirms that both Nick and himself were standing still during the capture.

Back in the shower room, Aaron gets the word, goodbye on Ovulus II. At the same time, the X Camera on Aaron is moved twice. The lockdown is then concluded.

Zak and Nick expand on the evidence and events that occurred.
